Fake ID Cards may be big inspiring factor

A 30 year old Californian woman Yvonne Pampellone was allegedly inspired to get a boob job and liposuction by deception after seeing how easy it was to set up a fake identity and obtain a loan to fund the fake boob job.

The surgery which cost approximately $12000 was performed at the Pacific Centre for plastic surgery, staff at the centre stated she failed to attend any follow up appointments. Prosecutors and Huntingdon Beach Police are pursuing her for charges of commercial theft, grand theft, and identity theft.

The fake identity documents used Yvonne Pampellone were a fake driving licence and altered passport, other fake documents that are easily available online can include fake birth certificates and and fake utility bills stating fictitious details such as names and addresses.

This story also mirrors that of 19 year old Nina Burmis a 2nd year Law Student at Hull University, UK, who also obtained loans by deception by using Fake ID to boost her boobs to a 32CC with a £3200 boob job. Surgery was carried out by the Transform Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Manchester, even after a £500 cheque for the deposit bounced. Suspicions were confirmed when she failed to attend follow up sessions and at this point the Police became involved.

Miss Burmis then went onto apply for a mortgage of £77000. The documents she presented for the mortgage application were a fake reference and fake payslip for a local construction, after an initial deposit cheque of £5900 bounced, further checks were carried out where the mortgage and Fake ID scams were quickly unravelled.

Due to the nature of her crimes, she will no longer be able to pursue a career in law, a Law Society spokesperson said. She was prosecuted and found guilty on 3 counts of fraud, receiving a 9 month suspended prison sentence, and will at a later date attend a hearing under the Proceeds of Crime Act to recover losses for the £3200 fake boob job.
